Generate Camino Personal Access Token
This article provides steps to generate a Personal Access Token for the OSV Giving - Camino API integration.
Using the OSV Giving - Camino API enables you to seamlessly integrate your OSV Giving data with the Camino church management system. This API retrieves transaction data from OSV Giving and gives the data to the Camino application. The Camino application needs authorization to use the OSV API. In order grant authorization, you must generate a Personal Access Token for the Camino application. The Personal Access Token is unique to each organization and is generated by OSV Hub in Giving Settings.
Note* Make sure you copy the Personal Access Token before you close. The token is not stored and cannot be viewed again. You must generate a new Personal Access Token if the original one is not copied.
To help keep your Giving data secure, the Personal Access Token expires one year from generation, breaking the link between OSV Giving and Camino. To reactivate the connection between OSV Giving and Camino, you can generate a new Personal Access Token.
You can Delete the Camino Personal Access Token if needed.
For the API documentation, please see OSV Giving - Camino API.
