Verify Address Changes from the Post Office

This article provides information about address changes and what happens when a new address is presented by the Postal System .

Updated address information is sent to the parish, by the post office, in an Address Correction Report which provides an opportunity for the parish to update the list. Corrections may need to be made because a family has moved or a change has been made. An alert that the address needs to be verified is viewable on the Directory dashboard and can also be verified on the Family Detail page.

Complete these steps to verify address changes:

1. In Directory on the dashboard, click on the Verify Changes button.

2. Select Accept All to update all records with the new address.

Note* Addresses can be accepted or rejected individually by clicking the green checkmark to accept or the grey x to reject.

Changes can also be accepted on the Family Detail Page

A rejected address change it is viewable on the family screen under the current address along with the date it was declined.
