To get started with the recording attendance feature, click on the kebab next to an upcoming class session to open the option to select “Record Attendance.”
This will load the next screen showing a list view of the students that are registered for the term and have been assigned to the class. Every student will be marked present by default.
To mark a student absent, click on the toggle button. A student will be shown as inactive when the toggle goes from purple to yellow.
The “Attendance Totals” box will update to show the current number of present and absent students.
When finished with attendance, click on the record attendance button.
The number of students present will now be available to view under the the “Upcoming Class Sessions” section.
The recording attendance is option is also available to be shared with teacher. Simply click on the clipboard icon next to “Attendance Link” (as shown on the first image at the beginning of the article) to copy the link and send to the teacher. The link is mobile friendly if the teacher is recording attendance on their mobile device.
