This article provides steps to edit physical contributions in the Directory.
An Administrator can update the amount, fund, note and tax status of a physical offering in the Directory. The change will show up real time in Giving in the batch.
Here are the steps to edit the offering:
1. From Directory go to Families and Members.
2. Search for and select the desired family or member.
3. Click on Contributions.
4. Scroll to locate the desired contribution.
5. Click on the ellipses (3 vertical dots) to view the drop down menu.
6. Click on Edit.
7. Make necessary edits.
Note* The side sheet provides an opportunity to edit the amount of the contribution, the fund that had been selected, amend the note if any, and change the tax status. (There is no opportunity to change the name, envelope number or check number here like in Offerings in Giving.)
8. Click on the Update button to process.
Note* The update is also reflected real time in Giving when it is updated in the Directory.
