This article provides steps to set the option on the Settings card to enable associated organizations.
Enabling the associated organizations settings allows the system to ask the donor for their associated organization when setting up a fund.
When tracking funds and donations, a diocese may want to track the parish a donor belongs to when they give a gift so the gift can be attributed to the specific parish.
Here are the steps to set the option on the Settings card:
1. From the Settings Card either click on Enabled on the card or click on the ellipses (3 vertical dots) to see the dropdown menu.
2. From the dropdown menu click on Edit Associated Org Setting.
3. On the side sheet, check the box titled Enable associated organizations.
4. Click on Save to process.
The setting cannot be disabled once organizations become associated.
