Duplicate Addresses
Directory will notify you if you try to add a family that has the same address as a current family in the system to try to avoid duplicate families. If there are two families who live at the same address you can always continue.
This notification will show up when you are on the “Add Family” page. Note that it will take a few seconds to populate the notification. Behind the scenes, the system is formatting it according to postal regulations and then checking it against all current addresses.
If you want to proceed to add the family with the duplicate address, just continue entering the family information. You can also click on “back to families” on the upper left-hand side of your screen to return and search for that address to see who the currently registered family is.
Type in the address to search for families at that address.
