To add a class, simply click on the “Add Class” button.
This will take you to the following screen to add in the necessary information for the class. Any field that highlights itself in red means it is a required field.
The class name is how you will want to be able to identify the class within the term and separate itself from any other class that could be created.
The term field will already be populated with the term name.
The next field gives the ability to search from a teacher that has been created in Directory. The teacher will need to be added in directory prior to this step and they will need a Safe Environment Certification. This search field will populate active and inactive individuals.
Selecting a grade will populate the grades that were assigned for the term and allow you to select individual or all grade levels depending on how the classes are structured.
The following fields will allow you to pick the schedule and time. For the frequency, two options are available: Weekly and Monthly.
Based on what the term date frame is, this will populate in the first class date and last class date. The ability to click on the calendar icon to modify the dates is available.
Lastly, the time can be inputted in hh:mm am/pm format. This will indicate the class will be in session during this particular time.
A blue banner will indicate what has been selected for the schedule. This banner will change depending if any modifications are made to the schedule and time.
Before finalizing, the option to add the maximum class size, what building and room number the class will be in, and choosing if the class is for a sacrament is available.
Click “Add Class” to finish the set-up.
The new class will now appear in the list.
