Create a Copy of a Term in Religious Education
This article provides steps to create a copy of a term in Religious Education.
An administrator can create a copy of a term in Religious Education from either an active or completed term. Many terms are set up similarly each year. To save time you can copy a previous term from the desired term page.
The copy will include the existing programs, program pricing, discounts, payment options, welcome message, and terms and conditions. These items can be updated as necessary. The form must be completed for the copied term information to save successfully in the system.
Complete the steps to create a copy of a term:
1. From Religious Education go to Terms.
2. Choose an active or completed term as a starting point for this new term.
Note* Copying a term will duplicate all programs, discounts, registration options and communication settings.
3. Click on the ellipsis to view the drop-down menu.
4. Click on Copy Term.
5a. Include the checkmark in the box if you want to be able to Copy settings from another term.
5b. Click on the drop-down menu to choose another term if desired.
6. Enter and adjust information to complete the term form.
7. Click on the Continue button.
8. Configure the registration open and close dates.
9. Customize the Registration link.
10. Click on Continue.
Note* Continue to work your way through the form and adjust your answers as necessary. You can always edit or update your answers once you have completed the form.
11. Click Continue to move forward.
Note* The information for the new term is not saved to the database until the user clicks the Complete button at the end of the form.
Note* Once the form is completed, the new copy is visible on the term page.
